Green Leek 10km
A wet and soggy Sunday morning saw runners turn out for the annual Green Leek multi terrain 10.5km race between Burton Green and Leek Wooten which is now in it’s 4th year. The course in parts resembled a cross country course, with lots of mud and surface water with the added extra of some parts being divided between easy options and “hardcore” routes.
Leamington C&AC athlete Callum Hanlon made the course look easy finishing in a time of 35:47, more than 2 minutes clear of second place Andy Crabtree. Vassilis Andreoulakis, also of LCAC, finished 4th in 39:54 with Jason Hill a few places behind in 9th place with a time of 41:22.
