The following athletes who have been members of the Club have competed internationally as shown:-
Sara McGreavy (now Wills) – Started with the Club and moved to Sale Harriers for higher level competition. She has since returned to the club. Whilst competing for Sale Harriers, Sara competed for GB at 60mH in the World Indoor Championships at Birmingham. Sara also competed for England and GB on numerous other occasions
Andy Hart – Started with the club before moving for higher level competition to Coventry Godiva. Whilst competing for Coventry Godiva, Andy Hart ran for GB in the 800m at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. In the 1994 Commonwealth Games, running for England he finished 5th in the 800m final and in the World Indoor Championships he reached the semi-final of the 800. He competed on other occasions for both GB & England
James Walsh – competed for the Club for several years and was the first Club man to win the Midland XC Championships. He left to join Leeds for work reasons. Whilst competing for Leeds AC, James competed for GB in the World Cross Country Championships in Spain
