Well done to all the athletes who took part in our third Open Graded meeting on this very warm July evening. If you got a new PB, very well done to you.
We did have a possible M75 British Record set, subject to ratification. David Oxland (M75) from Nottingham completed the 3000m in 11:50.57min beating the previous record by over 10 seconds.
Joshua Bain not only set a new PB but also beat his previous British Record in the F37 Category for shot put, with a throw of 12.90m.
Additionally, we welcomed a team from AIS Athletics with members from Europe and the Middle East among them.

We have one final Open Graded meeting for 2026 coming up on the 4th August. Events at this meeting will be 100m, 400m and 5000m on the track. In the field there will be shot put and discus.
